FARNDALE Film Club is gearing up for its first public movie showing having been formed earlier this year.
The club will show Addicted to Sheep at Farndale Village Hall on Friday, with doors opening at 7pm, and expects its premiere to be a popular affair.
An acclaimed feature length documentary by director Magali Pettier, Addicted to Sheep was filmed over a year in the North Pennines.
It follows tenant Farmers Tom and Kay and their prize flock of Swaledale Sheep as they hope to breed the perfect specimen.
Farndale Film Club spokesman James Thurtell said the £3 tickets were "excellent value".
He said: "It is expected that this will be popular so booking is requested."
The club was formed after a grant for equipment from the North Yorkshire Moors National Park's community fund.
