A TEAM of carers are putting their best foot forward to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society.
Staff from The Hall Care Home in Thornton Dale are taking part in the 9.5km Memory walk, organised by the charity on Sunday.
Helen Coulson, from The Hall, said: "Working in a care home, and caring for people living with dementia makes this a charity very close to the team's hearts, and by taking part in this walk we feel we are supporting the great work the Alzheimer’s Society is doing.
"The Alzheimer's Society believe passionately that life doesn't end when dementia begins, and support anyone worried about or affected by dementia. They fund medical and social research, and also campaign for better quality of life for people with dementia and greater understanding of the condition."
