THE annual Kirkbymoorside Horticultural Society Show on Saturday was a blooming success.
Exhibitors took part in 120 classes from flowers to photographs at the town's Memorial Hall.
Secretary Jill Hugill said it had been the best show for a number of years.
"It went very well and there were more entries than usual - it was certainly one of the best shows we've had," she said.
"The dahlias were a mass of colour and the display of produce was marvellous."
Mrs Hugill said three local primary schools had also taken part in the show - Kirkbymoorside, Sinnington and Gillamoor.
"We would like to thank everyone who took part and all the local businesses who provided sponsorship," she said.
