POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car was stolen from a Malton car dealership.
A burnt orange Vauxhall Corsa was stolen from the forecourt of Cooper Malton BMW on Tuesday, July 28, at about 3.20am.
The car was left on York Road for about 40 minutes before the offenders returned to tow the car away with a silver car before heading in the direction towards Malton.
North Yorkshire Police officers later found the car which had been abandoned in a nearby field, but are asking anyone with information or who may have seen the silver car on York Road industrial estate to contact them.
