Witness appeal
POLICE are appealing for information following a serious assault and disturbance in Norton at the weekend.
A man and woman aged in their 20s were attacked between 1am and 2am on Sunday July, 26.
The incident began at the junction with Church Street and Welham Road and spread to a residential driveway in Welham Road.
The woman sustained cuts to her face and foot and was taken to York Hospital for treatment.
