POLICE have released this image of a man they are keen to speak to in connection with the theft of wine. 

Officers have said that the wine was stolen from the Spar store on Falsgrave Road, Scarborough at 12.45pm on Saturday, June 20. 

The man in the CCTV image is described as white, aged in his 30s or 40s, between 5'5 to 5'8" tall, of medium build with a "belly."

His face appears to be clean-shaven or with a short stubble and he has very short or shaven dark hair and was wearing glasses. 

A police spokesperson said: "He was wearing a grey hooded to, with dark sleeves with the motif: 'h 9 and HLY EQPT' on the front of the hooded top. He was wearing blue jeans with white markings on rear pockets and a white patch on the right knee.

"We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public's assistance to help identify and locate this man."
