THIEVES stole jewellery from a residence in Whitby.
The thieves entered the detached bungalow in Westbourne Close through the rear garden and an open bedroom window.
Items stolen included three gold bracelets, a gold bangle, gold chains, a platinum solitaire engagement ring, a silver jet ring, and a gold half-sovereign.
