TWO men are due in court today following a foot chase with police in North Yorkshire.
Officers were patrolling in the Belvedere Terrace area of Scarborough at about 3.30pm on Monday, when the chase broke out.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said “a large number” of suspected Class A drugs in individual wraps were recovered along the route of the chase.
A 23-year-old man from Kirby, Merseyside, was charged on Tuesday with two counts of supplying Class A drugs.
A second man, aged 32 and from Scarborough, was also arrested following the incident, and was charged yesterday with assisting an offender.
Both men were remanded in custody and are due before Harrogate Magistrates’ Court today
