Put your dancing shoes on this Saturday evening for a night of authentic music at The Lettered Board pub in Smiddy Hill, Pickering.
The Scorchers will perform the songs of Carl Perkins, Elvis, Buddy Holly, George Jones and many more from 9.30pm.
Entry is free and there will be plenty of drinks on tap.

St Michael’s Church, Malton

This Saturday find out more about what the church has to offer from 10am-3pm. There will be a variety of presentations to visitors about what church life as well as plenty of Easter activities to keep children entertained. There will also be plenty of refreshments throughout the morning.

Yorkshire Dialect, Oswaldkirk

This evening of entertainment with a difference will give visitors the chance to try out Yorkshire Dialect with Adam Collier. The event will be held in the village hall and will start at 7.30pm. Entry is £5 and all funds go towards a Malton School pupils fundraising drive to raise money for a trip of a lifetime to Peru with the school next year.

Easter Eggs & Nests, Robert Fuller Gallery

Visitors to the gallery will be able to see inside nest boxes and learn how birds build their nests as part of this exhibition. The exhibition opens on Saturday and will run until April 26.
The exhibition also features video links to nest boxes which will be shown on live screens in the gallery and the artist is hoping that visitors will be able to see nesting behaviour and maybe even a clutch of some wild eggs lay.
The gallery is at Thixendale and is open from 10.30am-4.30pm on weekends and admission is free.

Ryedale Aquarist Society, Kirby Misperton

This Sunday the Ryedale Aquarist Society invites you to join them to celebrate their 30th anniversary day. There will be a variety of talks, an auction and an action packed show as well as a fun quiz. The event will be held in the village hall from 10am. Guests are encouraged to bring an item of food to contribute to the shared lunch buffet.
