THIS year’s Proms Spectacular concert at Castle Howard will go back to its roots as part of a 25th anniversary celebration.
Back by popular demand, the concert will feature well-known classics and film themes, with Jae Alexander, famed for his work with in the West End, returning alongside a number of special guests.
The concert will get underway with a Second World War Spitfire performing acrobatics as the UK Philharmonic Orchestra performs, while the finale will include Rule Britannia and Land Of Hope and Glory played alongside a specially-choreographed pyrotechnics show.
David Stubley, of Lighthouse Events, said: “Over the past 25 years, the Proms Spectacular has built a strong and loyal audience and it’s our aim, to provide the audience with a premium experience.
“For anyone who hasn’t experienced the Proms Spectacular I would urge them to join us this year as it will be a truly special night. Gather your friends and family, plan the picnics and the wine and get ready for a very special 25th anniversary proms spectacular.”
