PEOPLE are encouraged to join Ryedale’s first village hall networking event of the year, to have their say on issues effecting the community.
The Ryedale+ Village Hall Networking Meeting will give people a chance to have their say on community buildings, share experiences and put questions to those in charge of community projects.
There will also be guest speakers at the event, which has been organised by the village hall and Rural Action Yorkshire.
James Russell, of Rural Action Yorkshire, will be at the event to talk about his Community Friendly Buildings project and how village halls can work to develop new activities, projects and services.
Sarah Lalley-Malley, of Ryedale Carers, will talk about her role and the work she does within the community.
Suggestions for topics of discussions are welcomed.
The meeting will start with light refreshments in Hovingham Village Hall on Wednesday, February 11, from 10am. For more information visit ruralyorkshire.org.uk
