A COUPLE who organise popular dances both for fun and charity are back at their regular venue.

Barrie and Pat Elener are hosting their first event at Ryedale Community Leisure Centre in Norton since it reopened last month.

The couple said they were delighted to be back and using the new Furlongs function suite.

"We are inviting everyone to come dancing with modern and old time ballroom dances, from Latin, jive, rock and roll and some popular sequence dances," Barrie said.

"The theme will be Halloween and we are asking people to wear red and/or black and masks."

Barrie said he would be playing the music while Pat will be greeting friends old and new on the door.

"We have a friendly crowd of dancers who support us and we would like as many as possible to "come dancing" with us again," Barrie added.

The dance will be held on Friday, October 31, 7.45 - 11pm and will include a raffle.

All proceeds are for the Ryedale Community Leisure Centre.

Tickets are £5 available on the door or to book phone 01653 694431 or email belener@hotmail.co.uk
