RYEDALE Folk Museum is inviting local people to experience their enchanted grounds at night– with plenty of strange goings on.
The museum is hosting its annual family Halloween party with witches, zombies, ghosts and fairies invited to attend the spooktacular event.
Hair-raising stories will be heard by firelight, become a wicked witch with potion making, or get arty and make some freaky crafts to take home - with finger puppets and wand-making featuring this year.
The museum's buildings will be full of characters for you to meet, including Professor Bones in his chemist shop and for those who like a bit of competition there will be plenty of games to take part in.
Plus there will be the chance to win prizes as the museum will be hosting fancy dress and pumpkin competitions.
Education Manager, Emma Colclough, said “The Halloween party at the museum is one of the highlights of our year.
"For those with younger children, it is a great way to celebrate the holiday in a safe and friendly environment.
She added: "It always has a great fun family atmosphere, and every year we love coming up with new ways of entertaining our guests.”
The Halloween party takes place from 6pm – 8pm on Friday , October 31. Tickets are £3 each and can be purchased from the museum.
