Woman airlifted to hospital after being cut free from crash wreckage in North Yorkshire
FIREFIGHTERS have cut free a woman who was trapped in her car after it collided with a van on the A171 at Normanby, near Whitby, at 1.30 pm today.
The 32-year-old was taken by air ambulance to hospital in Middlesbrough, suffering from pelvic injuries. The van driver, a man in his mid-50s, suffered minor leg and head injuries and was taken to hospital by road ambulance.
