TWO new head teachers are settling in at Ampleforth College and St Martin’s Ampleforth Prep School in North Yorkshire.
The appointment of Mark O’Donnell at St Martin’s and David Lambon as the first lay headmaster in Ampleforth College’s 200 year history, marks a new era for the schools – bringing some of the UK’s best educational talent on board while retaining their core commitment to a Benedictine education.
The new heads have relocated from London and Northern Ireland respectively and have spent the last week meeting the Monastic Community, students, parents and staff.
