TEENAGERS who are unsure what their next step should be on the career path are being encouraged to visit a free event offering jobs advice.

The event, on Wednesday, October 1, at The Brooklyn Youth Centre, Langton Road, Norton, on October 1 aims to help 16 to 19-year olds and 25-year-olds with special needs gain voluntary work experience, jobs advice or prepare them for a career in the military.

Advice will also be on offer for those who are looking for apprenticeships and jobs with training prospects. Training providers and potential employers attending the event include Age UK, Askham Bryan, the National Careers Service and the Prince’s Trust.
