A FREE pop-up business café has been organised for firms in the Ryedale area.

The Howardian Hills AONB and Rural Action Yorkshire are teaming up with the Local Economic Partnership (LEP) to bring the two hour event to Hovingham Village Hall on Saturday, October 11, from 10am to noon.

Accounting, broadband, business planning, finance, food licencing, funding, getting paid, growing your business, marketing, regulations, SEO, social media, websites, tax efficiency and being in business are among the topics on offer.

A spokesman from Rural Action Yorkshire said: " No business is too small. Whether you are an individual looking to make some extra money from your hobby or a medium size enterprise aiming to expand or increase promotional activity this event is for you.

"We will have local expertise waiting to give practical answers to your questions on a range of business topics. It will be totally informal - turn up when you like, leave when you like - it's a cafe, not a conference."

if the event is busy, a booking system will operate to give those attending 20 minutes with an expert.

On arrival attendees should let the organisers know who you would like to talk to, and think about the questions you really want answers to so they can make the most of your time.
