TRACTION engines, fairground organs and vintage cars all starred in a steam rally at Duncombe Park, Helmsley, over the weekend.

The annual event, organised by the Great Yorkshire Traction Engine Club, also featured vintage motorcycles and tractors, Bernese mountain dogs and models and miniature displays.

There were also craft and trade stands and a fair ground, and Can-Can dancers provided entertainment.

I used to go to school at Duncombe Park many moons ago, it is a shame this was on Tour de France weekend as would have been nice to go, bet the weather was glorious.

The house is worth a visit.
