Two arrested over illegal money lending
TWO people were arrested in Scarborough on suspicion of illegal money lending.
A 38-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman were arrested in the Eastfield area of Scarborough yesterday, by North Yorkshire Police.
Police were working with The England Illegal Money Lending Team and North Yorkshire County Council Trading Standards, and also seized mobile phones and documents.
Both remain in custody and are being questioned by officers.
