DRIVERS in two different road accidents in North Yorkshire escaped without serious injuries yesterday.
Two large goods vehicles collided on the A64 at West Knapton at around 11am and both drivers were given first aid by firefighters.
At around the same time two cars collided at the Buttersyke Bar roundabout, Follifoot, near Harrogate.
Although one driver was trapped in her car and had to be cut free by firefighters, both had only minor injuries.
