FIRST aid charity St John Ambulance is appealing for adult volunteers to help out in York and North Yorkshire.
It is looking for people to help with the weekly evening meetings for 5 to 18-year-olds who want to learn first aid and other life skills in a fun environment.
“There are vacancies throughout the region for youth leaders, support leaders and helpers to work with Badgers, aged 5 to 10, and Cadets, aged 10 to 17,” said a spokesman.
“The roles do not require first aid knowledge.”
Applicants will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check as well as complete a Working Safely with Young People safety course.
If you would like to get involved, please get in touch.
