POLICE have urged anyone with information about the death of a pedestrian near Scarborough this weekend.
The 25-year-old man was hit by a white and blue DAF lorry on the A64 at Sherburn, near Scarborough, at about 7.45pm on Friday, June 20. He was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with serious injuries, where he died on Saturday. A police spokesman said they were not in a position to release his name at this time.
Officers have appealed to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw anyone walking along the side of the carriageway prior to the incident, to phone North Yorkshire Police on 101
