Belt stolen from moored old life boat near Whitby bridge
THIEVES stole a life belt from the Old Life Boat moored in Whitby harbour, near the swing bridge.
The theft happened at about 1.30am on June 6, and CCTV showed a man wearing the belt around his neck with a group of other men.
Anyone who saw the group, who made their way along Golden Lion Bank, into Flowergate and Cliff Street, should contact police on the non-emergency number 101.
