A PEDESTRIAN suffered bruises and grazes after being hit by a moped in Malton.
The 66-year-old woman was walking in Castlegate at about 5.10pm on Wednesday, June 11, when she was struck by the vehicle - the registration of which began AP12.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said the moped rider was wearing a dark helmet and fell off the bike, but did not remain at the scene.
Anyone who saw the incident or the moped prior to the collision should call the police on 101.
