A 27-YEAR-OLD man has been airlifted to hospital after a farm accident near Easingwold.
The Great North Air Ambulance was called to the scene at around 11am yesterday.
The man had received chest injuries from farm machinery on his family’s farm, an ambulance spokesman said.
He was treated by the air ambulance doctor at the scene flown to James Cook Hospital in Middlesborough. His condition was described as stable when he arrived the hospital.
