A TEN-year-old boy suffered a serious head injury in a crash near a North Yorkshire school on Thursday.
The collision occurred at about 3.10pm at the junction of North Leas Road and Maple Drive, Scarborough, close to Northstead CP Primary Schoolon Thursday (MAY 22). A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said the boy was hit by a blue Peugeot 207, and suffered a serious head injury.
He was taken by air ambulance to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough, where he remains in a comfortable condition. Anyone who witnessed the collision should contact Scarborough police on 101 or email gareth.gilleard@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
