A NATIONWIDE initiative to keep the UK’s beaches ‘barefoot friendly’ will be heading to Scarborough along with wildlife ambassador Kate Humble.
Now running for its seventh year in the UK, the “Barefoot Wine Beach Rescue Project” will be calling on members of the Scarborough community to volunteer to help clean South Bay beach on Saturday, May 17, at 2pm.
Kate Humble will be hosting the Scarborough beach clean as well as an opportunity to give something back to the community.
After collecting a Barefoot Wine t-shirt and any necessary kit, volunteers will spend the afternoon collecting litter before being rewarded for their efforts with a glass of Barefoot Wine.
