The fourth running of the Helmsley 10Kchallenge took place on Easter Sunday, April 20 was a huge success with more than 400 entrants.
The first past the post was Mike Burrett, from Leeds City AC, wearing number 248, in a time of 33.18.
Second was number 335 Shaun O'Grady, of New Marske Harriers Club, in a time of 33.40.
In third place was number 398 Paul Butler, Loftus and Whitby, in 36.03.
First woman home was Caroline Lambert, number 166 of Wetherby Runners. Zanthe Wrat, wearing number 368, of Hallamshire Harriers, was second. In third place was Kate Harris, wearing number 187, of City of York.
