Lorry and lead stolen in Whitby builders’ yard raid
THIEVES have stolen a lorry and more than 100 rolls of lead valued at about £7,000 after breaking into a builders’ yard.
The theft was between 2am and 3am yesterday at Wilf Noble Building Supplies on Sneaton Lane in Ruswarp, near Whitby.
The truck is a red Scania flat-bed lorry with the name of the firm on the side.
