MALTON’S first pop-up shop could soon be appearing in the town.
Fitzwilliam Malton Estate is offering 12 Market Street in Malton, which is fully refurbished, to rent as a temporary shop. The property comes with a restored frontage and sales area on the ground and first floor. The estate will offer promotional support through its own social media channels to publicise each pop-up.
Tobias Burckhardt, surveyor at Malton Estate, said: “wanted to try something different, and saw pop ups working well on other high streets.We see the pop up shop working in different ways, ranging from start-up businesses testing a concept, online retailers trying bricks and mortar for the first time, to established retailers needing space to try a new product range.
“The shop is suitable for holding flash sales, a new product launch, or for a proto-type store. It would also be an excellent space for holding a temporary event or an exhibition.”
Mr Burckhardt added: “The unit is available to rent for a flexible length of time, from seven days to eight weeks.”
