Cash grant for special needs children
RYEDALE and District Mencap will benefit from a donation of £1,000 to support fitness activities in the area.
York-based Charles Ruddock Trust Ltd offers grants to support the needs of people with learning disabilities across the area and presented the Ryedale and District Mencap with the grant.
The money will be used to support activities like zumba and yoga in the Malton and Pickering area and to help with the transport costs for these and other leisure and fitness activities.
Applications from organisations, families or individuals for grants can be made in writing to the secretary, Mr J C Dennis, c/o Dennis Distribution, Derwent Road, York Road Industrial Estate, Malton, North Yorkshire, YO17 9DP.
