MALTON Hospital’s League of Friends is appealing for volunteers to help keep the building blooming.
The Friends are aiming to restart a rota of people who will maintain the flower displays at the entrance to the building.
Chairman Jezz Kipling said they already had a team of helpers from Malton and Norton Flower Club, Horsley’s florists and the League itself, but were looking for more volunteers to get involved.
“Our flower displays help provide a warm welcome to patients and people visiting the hospital and also help everyone feel good,” he added.
“The League of Friends is encouraging more people in the community to get involved with our work and this is one way people can do that a couple of times a month.”
Anyone who would like to help or would like more information should contact Jezz Kipling on 077790 38184 or email jezza31@hotmail.com
