RESIDENTS worried about fracking will be able to voice their concerns in a discussion session with a campaign group set up to support the fight against the process.
Frack Free North Yorkshire, a group hoping to raise awareness of the controversial issue, will show a film and hold a discussion about the latest developments at the Friends’ Meeting House, Greengate, Malton, on Friday.
The group will update residents about the developments and will be handing out information packs.
Exploration licences for sites across Ryedale have already been granted to companies such as Viking Gas UK Ltd, which has sent off drilling samples from an already existing well site at Kirby Misperton.
