THE driver of a dark four-wheeled-drive vehicle is urged to contact police after a woman was knocked over in Scarborough.
The pedestrian, who is in her twenties, was walking with two young children in Castle Road at about 6.05pm last Thursday when she crossed the road close to the junction with Dean Road, near Tesco Express.
The 4x4 edged forward and collided with her, knocking her to the ground, then drove away without stopping.
The woman suffered bruising to her leg and to the side of her body. The children where uninjured.
