Music group runs competition to find new name
10:48am Wednesday 22nd January 2014 in News
A music group is running a competition to find a new name.
Kate Smith, who has run Little Monkey’s Music and Movement for five years, is looking for something which will reflect what the group does.
She said she had been forced to look for an alternative after discovering another organisation had registered the same name.
She said: “I am looking for something snappy and catchy that hasn’t already been taken and reflects what we do.”
Kate said the classes, for pre-school children up to the age of five, included singing, dancing and play. “They also enable parents to socialise, which is particularly good for new mums who may feel isolated,” said Kate.
She is offering a family day pass to Castle Howard to the person who comes up with the winning name. If nothing suitable is suggested, an entry will be drawn and that person will win a six-week block of music classes.
Entries should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01653 658058.
