HOUSEHOLDERS are being urged to cash in on a scheme to buy cheap oil.
Helen James, of Yorkshire Energy Partnership and the newly- appointed community support co-ordinator for Ryedale and Scarborough, said the partnership, a not-for-profit organisation owned by the two authorities together with Leeds Metropolitan University and the Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust, is aiming to set up a Ryedale oil co-operative service.
Ms James said: “My role is to liaise with householders and oil companies to get the best price.”
Once a best price has been set, householders will be advised which firm to deal with. Phone Ms James on 01904 545020 or 07530 148531 or email oilryedaleandscarborough@ energypartnership.org.uk
