RYEDALE Sports Centre is offering people the incentive to get fit and active in the New Year with a free open day to try all the activities it offers.
Both adults and children can take advantage of facilities and activities ranging from badminton, climbing, roller skating and the Horizon fitness gym free of charge for a full day.
A sports centre spokesman said: “It is basically to encourage people to be more active and get fit in the New Year and if families want to spend more time together they can try out activities such as our roller disco.”
The free activities will run from 10am to 5pm, on Sunday.
