TWO men and three children were taken to hospital after a crash in North Yorkshire yesterday.
The crash, between a van and a Mitsubishi pick-up, happened at about 6.30pm on the B1257 at Sproxton, near Helmsley.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire Service said the male driver of the van was taken to hospital with neck and chest injuries, and the driver of the pick-up was taken to hospital with serious leg, chest and neck injuries. Three young boys in the pick-up also suffered chest injuries.
North Yorkshire Police have urged anyone who saw the crash to contact them on 101.
