Festive food, drinks and carols will accompany a screening of classic Christmas film Elf for a special event at the Yorkshire Museum.
The day of events on December 5 will begin with a Christmas gift fair in the museum’s hospitium. The fair is free to all, and runs from 11am until 6.30pm.
Then at 6.30pm, ticket holders will be treated to a festive menu followed by the one-off screening of 2003 film Elf, starring Will Ferrell, in the museum’s atmospheric Medieval Gallery.
Jennifer Cork, wedding and events supervisor for York Museums Trust, said: “We think there is no better way to get your-elf into the Christmas spirit than eating fantastic Christmas food and watching the brilliant Elf.”
Tickets for the evening can be bought by phoning 01904 687671 or by emailing yorkvenues@ymt.org.uk, and are £15 per person.
