Work to improve A64 roundabout at Staxton

The Highways Agency is spending £172,000 on the work, which will include resurfacing and renewing white lining and studs on the roundabout and on the the entry and exit arms of the A64.
Work should be finished by November 11, depending on the weather. It will take place between 8pm and 6am each night, with temporary traffic lights in place.
Highways Agency project sponsor John Howard said: '”This is routine maintenance but will give safer and smoother journeys through the junction.”
