£3,000 raid on Thornton-Le-Moor farmhouse

THIEVES stole gold jewellery worth £3,000 from a farmhouse at Thornton-Le-Moor.
The theft happened between 2pm last Saturday, and 4pm on Sunday. Items stolen included bangles and bracelets, gold cufflinks, ivory and gold earrings, gold necklaces, a choker, and a pearl necklace and bracelet set. They also took a butterfly shaped pendant, a heart-shaped ring and a gold fob watch.
