Show president and chairman Trudy Carr said their had been a number of special classes to celebrate the show’s 40th anniversary.
“The show went very well and we had a few new people entering and a very large baking section, including cakes that had been decorated to celebrate our 40th anniversary,” she said.
“The pumpkin show also went well with the top prize going to Kenny Etty with his 161lb pumpkin.”
Trudy said the show was a great village tradition and it was important to keep it going.
