BUSINESS people in and around the National Park are invited to celebrate the success of the North York Moors Tourism Network.
A free event at the Helmsley offices of the North York Moors National Park Authority will launch four new promotional films and encourage a debate about the future of the network.
The North York Moors Tourism Network, which was set up a year ago, now has over 150 members. Tourism, hospitality, creative and retail businesses can join for free by signing up.
Over the year, members have attended free workshops and were given a free toolkit which included marketing tips, a booklet promoting the North York Moors and 100 copyright-free images to use on their websites.
The celebratory event on Tuesday, from 1pm to 4pm will include a buffet and a discussion about the body’s autumn programme.
Susan Briggs, the network's co-ordinator, said: “There is a strong spirit of collaboration among the businesses and we want to find ways to continue that. We are particularly excited to be able to make some announcements about what we will be doing next as this project generated a lot of enthusiasm.”
