What Norton residents love about their town
2:29pm Wednesday 28th August 2013 in News
NORTON residents are being invited to put forward their views and opinions about what they enjoy about living in the town.
The joint project – Love Norton 14 – is being led by the churches in the town. It is currently in the early stages and organisers are appealing for ideas to take the project forward.
Andy Boxall, from Elim Ryedale Church said: “To prepare, maximise impact and to be effective, we want to hear from Norton residents about the things the church might be able to do to make a difference.
“We want to know what people enjoy about living in Norton, anything they may find difficult and the local issues that concern them. We would also like to know sort of interests residents have.”
Surveys can be picked up from Bethel Methodist Church, Elim Ryedale Church, Malton Baptist Church, the Salvation Army, St Peter’s Church or Trinity Methodist Church, alternatively they are available from church members in Norton or at Hope Central in Malton.
The survey needs to be returned before the end of the month. A public meeting will be held at Norton College on September 26 at 7.30pm to share the results and further plans.
