DIG OUT those unwanted posh frocks and help a Norton charity’s fundraiser this weekend.
Next Steps Mental Health Resource Centre in Church Street is holding a fundraising event to raise money for two of its projects.
Manager Mike Dixon said they were looking for donations of party frocks, shoes and handbags as well as unwanted wedding and christening dresses.
“One of our staff members suggested organising the sale as many dresses are bought for a special occasion and never worn again,” he said.
“The money raised will be used to help continue our memory café and also the popular walking group as funding for both is due to cease shortly and finding new sources of funding is extremely difficult thesedays.”
The posh frocks and handbags sale takes place at Next Steps, Church Street, Norton, on Saturday, 10am-2pm.
Donations can be left at the premises or phone 01653 690854 to make arrangements.
