Police want to trace owners of stolen goods

THE owners of suspected stolen property in Thirsk are being urged to come forward.
A number of items including a bird scarer, golf clubs, barbed wire and horse rugs have been recovered by police, who believe they have been stolen.
PC Clare Mayes of Thirsk Police, said: “Anyone who believes they are the victim of theft or burglary and may be the rightful owner of any of the items is urged to contact the police.”
Other items include four lights, camping gear, two jerry cans, a sink and a water trough.
