THE Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, will visit Ryedale on Friday.
Dr Sentamu, accompanied by the Bishop of Selby, the Rt Rev Martin Wallace, will visit Ryedale District Council followed by agricultural cooperative BATA in Amotherby.
At 7.30pm, he will attend a special event at St Peter’s Church in Norton. No tickets are needed.
The Rev Rachel Hirst, Vicar of St Peter’s, said: “It’ll be great to welcome Archbishop Sentamu to Norton.
“Everyone is welcome to come to the evening with the archbishop, to hear about his remarkable life story, and to ask him those questions you’ve always wanted to ask but never had the opportunity.”
