Picnic In Park sure to go out with bang

ORGANISERS of a charity summer celebration in the grounds of an 18th century manor near Thirsk say this year’s event will have its strongest ever musical line-up.
Rising stars and Thirsk-based band My Forever and Queen tribute band Flash will perform to an expected audience of 1,000 at the Picnic In The Park on Saturday, July 13, in Thirsk Hall’s ten acres of parkland overlooking Thirsk Racecourse.
The Thirsk Royal British Legion will also perform at the event, which will have a fireworks display finale, to raise funds for local charities and Action Medical Research.
