Kirkbymoorside allotment group elects its officers

A TOTAL of 26 members attended the annual general meeting of the Kirkbymoorside Allotment Association.
A vote of thanks was given for Neville Kirby who has resigned from the committee after many years. The meeting was told that long-standing member Gilbert Dobson had left his allotment after 45 years.
The officers agreed to stand for another year. They are chairwomen Carol Messham, treasurer Jean Lishman and secretary Kathy Robson.
Committee members are B Bancroft, R Harrison, J Robson and J Sleightholme. G Ward was welcomed as a new member. Anyone who would like an allotment should put their name down on the waiting list.
