SAINT Catherine’s Hospice is seeking high-fliers to take to the skies and experience the thrill of a lifetime by completing a parachute jump in support of patient care.
Organisers are urging anyone who has ever felt the need to freefall from 10,000 feet to make it happen on Saturday, July 6.
The parachute jump day has become an established event on the hospice fundraising calendar and each year more and more supporters take to the skies and “drop in to fundraising”. Last year, 18 dare-devil supporters raised more than £5,000 in sponsorship for patient care.
To make a tandem jump, parachutists are required to raise at least £375 to take part on this day and the fundraising team has plenty of ideas to help them raise the money.
